Adelajda Turku is an award-winning tutor for STEM college courses. Her first book is The Microbio Pamphlet, the first of a series of science workbooks for college students. Her contributions span the science lab and her involvement in research resulted in a few publications. Adelajda enjoys using her free time to help community college students, women in science, and underrepresented communities to access opportunities and make a giant step towards their personal/professional goals. She has been selected as AKA Education Advancement Scholar and PTK Global Leader of Promise Scholar. She is currently studying Biological Sciences at Hunter University (CUNY), NYC.
